Tim Goodwin as Raoul Dufy

Tim Goodwin as Raoul Dufy

Following the success of the London premier of ‘Paintbox Jane’, in which I play the French painter, Raoul Dufy, I’m pleased to announce that the project has now been expanded by half-an-hour into two 45 minute sets. The new version has added songs and dialogue and looks like it will be immensely entertaining.

Company Westbrook will consist of:

Tim Goodwin as Raoul Dufy, vocals from lyricist Kate Westbrook, Martine Waltier and Billy Bottle, Marcus Vergette on double bass,  Alan Wakeman on tenor and soprano saxophones and composer Mike Westbrook on piano.

We are due to perform the new version for the first time at AMF @ The Barnfield Theatre, Exeter on Friday 27th May 2016 at 8 pm. I do hope to see you there!

‘No one has succeeded in creating a more distinctive body of work than Mike and Kate Westbrook. Their mixture of jazz, music-theatre, poetry, street entertainment and visuals is rich and unique.’ Dave Gelly in The Observer
